There are many factors that may contribute to or relieve your pain. For instance, stress may exacerbate one person’s pain, while rain exacerbates another’s back ache. Rest may be beneficial to one person, while movement eases someone else’s discomfort. Heat and ice may ease or aggravate your condition. Pay attention to all of these factors, your acupuncturist will find them helpful. The diagnosis from a CAT scan, MRI, or X-ray can also be beneficial for your practitioner.
